The Woman’s Club of Williamsport, an idea born in 1874 with a group of civic-minded women, became reality with the purchase of the present building in 1924.

The building was the carriage house of the Smith-Ulman Mansion at 624 West Fourth Street and was renovated and furnished with antiques in 1925.

Since that time, the members have lovingly maintained the building and have enjoyed this dignified setting for their Thursday lunches, social events, and private parties and receptions. This charming facility is available for rent for family parties, business meetings and catered meals.
